Assets of ?KazAgro? Holding increased by 56%: A.Mamytbekov

ASTANA. January 14. KAZINFORM /Kurmat Samarkhan/ ?Upon the results of 2008 the assets value of ?KazAgro? Holding increased by 56% and amounted to KZT 296.8 bln? Chairperson of the Holding Asylzhan Mamytbekov has said today at the enlarged session of the Board of the Kazakh Ministry of Agriculture, Kazinform reports.

?Shareholders' interests increased 1.5 times and amounted to KZT 154.2 bln, loan portfolio increased 1.7 times and is up to KZT 143.9 bln. And we plan to realize net profit of consolidated companies at the level of KZT 2.6 bln that is 3.5 times more than the indexes of 2007?, the head of the Holding said. Total volume of financing of agro-industrial complex within the projects, realized by the Holding, reached the level of KZT 158 bln in 2008. ?Over USD 500 mln were attracted form the foreign and domesticcapital markets?, the chairman of ?KazAgro? said.
