Association with EU will promote transfer of production to Ukraine - Ustenko
Executive Director of the International Bleyzer Foundation Oleh Ustenko has expressed this opinion at a round table in Kyiv, a Ukrinform correspondent reports.
"In the following years, we expect growth of investments by 25%. Also, in case of signing of the Association Agreement, thanks to the cheaper labor force we could expect the transfer of production from the EU eastern border to Ukraine," he said.
The expert noted that positive trends are observed for Ukrainian exports on foreign markets.
"There is some positive news from the foreign markets, although very contradictory, but there is. For instance, a slight rise of prices is observed for metallurgical products," he stressed.
According to the Executive Director of the International Bleyzer Foundation, thanks to this, GDP growth will be observed by the year end.
"There is hope that in Q4, we will enter the plus zone. With good development of events, this will compensate for the fall over previous quarters," he noted.
