Astana and N Kazakhstan boast highest housing commissioning rates

Deputy Prime Minister - National Economy Minister of Kazakhstan Nurlan Baibazarov reported on the construction growth rates, Kazinform News Agency reports.

Construction put in place rose by 12.8%. Positive dynamics is recorded in 16 regions with the highest rates seen in Almaty, Zhambyl, Kyzylorda and Abai regions. Over 1 million square meters of housing were commissioned this January which is 3% more as compared to last January, the Minister announced at today’s Government meeting.

Astana, North Kazakhstan, Kyzylorda and Zhambyl regions showed the highest housing commissioning.

He also noted gross agricultural output grew by 0.4%. the highest rates were recorded in Abai, Zhetysu, Almaty and Kyzylorda regions.

Kyzylorda, Pavlodar regions and Astana witnessed growth in all seven economic indicators.
