Astana-Ashkhabad: coop within OSCE and on bilateral level

ASTANA. November 12. KAZINFORM The Kazakh-Turkmen consultations of the Foreign Ministers has been held in Ashkhabad today. The Kazakh side was represented by Deputy Foreign Minister Kairat Sarybai, the press service of the Ministry reports.

The sides discussed cooperation in bilateral and multilateral formats in order to implement the agreements achieved during the talks of Presidents of Kazakhstan and Turkmenistan N.Nazarbayev and G. Berdymukhammedov held earlier in Astana and Ashkhabad.

The interlocutors discussed the preparation to the OSCE Summit in Astana and its agenda. The sides emphasized the convergence of approaches of Kazakhstan and Turkmenistan on a range of issues.

Discussing the bilateral cooperation the sides complimented the trade and economic interaction, contacts in the transport sphere and transportation of hydrocarbons as well as the conducted work on demarcation of the Kazakh-Turkmen state border.
