Astana boasts increase of 78,000 residents in 2013

ASTANA. KAZINFORM "The Astana city added more 78,000 residents in 2013," Astana Mayor Imangali Tasmagambetov reported to President of Kazakhstan Nursultan Nazarbayev, the Akorda press service informs.

The Mayor said that above one million of square meters of housing were put into service in 2013. Besides, he added that the Astana administration plans to build 100 childcare centres by 2020.
