ASTANA. December 3. KAZINFORM /Zhanna Korkitova/ The Astana Charter is to be a solid foundation for further development of the OSCE, hence it reflects position of all member states. President of Kazakhstan Nursultan Nazarbayev has said it at a press conference following results of the OSCE Summit in Astana.

"The OSCE Summit in Astana has finished its work. Two last days were very intensive and interesting, and difficult. The discussion evolved very rapidly. The participating states demonstrated their adherence to the OSCE values. Following results of our meetings we adopted the Astana Declaration, confirming our responsibility for the Organization's development, its role in improvement, strengthening security and cooperation.

This document will be a solid foundation for further development of the OSCE, hence it reflects position of all member states", the President emphasized.
