Astana Culture Days to be held in Amman

AMMAN. March 5. KAZINFORM /Talgat Baimukhambetov/ Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Kazakhstan to the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan Bulat Sarsenbayev held a meeting with Amman Mayor Omar AlMaani.

During the meeting the two officials discussed the issues of cooperation based on the Agreement on twin-city relations between Astana and Amman signed in 2005; Kazakh Embassy in Jordan advised Kazinform. The Jordanian party is ready to receive Astana delegation headed by Mayor Imangali Tasmagambetov on April 12-14, 2009. "Astana Culture Days in Amman? will be organized as part of the visit. Lead artists, and musical, folk and dance groups of Kazakhstan will enter the delegation. Apart from that, the parties will discuss possible scopes of partnership and sign a joint action plan for 2009-2010 in trade, economy, science, urban development, environmental protection, culture and sport.
