Astana cyclist Dmitry Rive gained Gold in Asian Championship

"Today, March 13, a graduate of the Astana cycling sports school 6 Dmitry Rivet became the Asian Champion in the individual race on the road ahead of his nearest rival from Japan for 12 seconds," the statement reads.
The office also reports that Dmitry will now fight for the medals in the road race on March 15. It is worth noting that the 18-year-old athlete is the reigning champion of Kazakhstan.
The competition on the highway has began today, March 13, immediately after the track started. Six forsterlings of the capital's cycling sports school, who had already competed in the national team of Kazakhstan, showed good results there.
It should be pointed out that from March 7 in the Indian capital New Delhi there are continuing the 33rd Asian Championship races on road and track.
As previously reported on March 12 the Astana riders took the "silver" in the Asian Championship. In the team pursuit the junior national team of Kazakhstan took the second place behind Japan. The athletes Nikita Klevanov and Marlen Tokseitov have become silver medalists of the continental championship. Both are the last year champions of the country on the track.
It should be added that there are 41 teams participating in the Asian Championship. Kazakhstan's delegation consists of 51 people. These are men's and women's national teams of Kazakhstan in different age categories: Juniors (born in 1995 and 1996), Under (born in 1991- 1994) and Elite (born in 1990 and older).
