Astana document is an opportunity to reenergize OSCE - Marc Perrin de Brichambaut

ASTANA. December 1. KAZINFORM /Narymbek Ismagulov/ Astana document gives an opportunity to reenergize our organization, OSCE Secretary General Marc Perrin de Brichambaut said at the OSCE Summit in Astana on Wednesday.

According to him, OSCE is an inclusive forum for dialogue among 56 participating states, it's a bridge between Mediterranean and Asian partners. «But OSCE can only be as effective as you choose to make it. The Astana document is therefore an opportunity to reenergize our organization, to send a clear message about your commitment to its basic principles and to agree clear strategic direction for the future", - he added.

The draft framework of action which has been submited to you will be our road-map and will ensure that the OSCE is equipped with all tools and political will to do its' job, - he said.
