Astana hosts discussion on technological programs management

ASTANA. June 27. KAZINFORM - Today, Astana hosts a workshop on international experience in the management of national applied research targeted technology programs with the participation of Deputy Minister of Industry and New Technologies Kanysh Tuleushin, according to the website of Kazakh Prime Minister.

"In the future, it is planned to develop and adopt 10 programs for the development of key technologies from the list of 75 technologies annually. In 2014, we will update the results of the foresight study. Therefore, great attention is paid to the study of international experience in the organization, implementation and management of technology programs targeted at the development of technologies," Tuleushin said in his welcoming speech.

He noted the importance of identifying the best model for Kazakhstan on the legal, financial provision of cooperation between science and business.

So, during today's workshop international experts from Finland and Japan will provide their Kazakh colleagues advisory support on legal, budgetary and organizational procedures on building models of interaction between science and business.

The event also will contribute to the process of developing a mechanism of interaction between business and science within the framework of the draft Concept of formation of promising national clusters of Kazakhstan till 2020.
