Astana lyceum #38 took second place at II International Olympiad in Antalya

ASTANA. November 4. KAZINFORM /Muratbek Makulbekov/ Students of Astana lyceum #38 distinguished themselves at the II International Olympiad in Antalya.

As director of the lyceum Zhamal Kasymbek informed, 15 teams from Russia, Ukraine, Kazakhstan, Belarus and Turkey took part in the Olympiad. School students competed in knowledge on such disciplines as Russian language, English language, mathematics, physics, biology, geography.

As she said, 49 out of 62 students became winner in different disciplines. The team of the lyceum #38 took the second place at the Olympiad.

The school won "Best school of Kazakhstan" title in 2002. In 2006-2007, 2007-2008, 2009-2010 academic years the lyceum was awarded "Best school of Astana" title and Mayor's grant.
