Astana Mayor holds meeting with residents

ASTANA. February 4. KAZINFORM /Kanat Kulshmanov/ Astana Mayor Imangali Tasmagambetov has held a report meeting with the city residents in Congress Hall; Kazinform reports.

Within the meeting I.Tasmagambetov informed the residents of the results of development of Kazakhstan?s capital over 2008. He emphasized that 2008 was a hard year. The crisis influenced the city?s economy. We succeeded in bearing of a balance in social-economic development of the city. ?In 2008 the volume of output of industrial production formed 84.1 percent, volume of manufactured goods, works and services ? KZT 270 bln. In spite of decrease of investment volumes in capital stock tax revenues amounted to KZT 496 bln?, he said.
