Astana mosques will help 300 children from low-income families
This has been stated at today's Astana press conference by the chief imam of Astana and "Nur Astana" Mosque Kalizhan Zankoev.
"Due to the fact that in the current year Oraza Ait begins Aug. 8, when before the school year remain several days, working with Akimats of Astana districts we have come to the decision to prepare children - about 300 children from low-income families - for a school. We will do our best to buy them uniforms, school bags, and school supplies. For this we will not use funds from the donations of worshippers of our mosques, that will be separate financial means received from self-employed people or other benefactors " said K.Zankoev.
"In addition, annually we, in the capital's mosques, during sacred Ramadan conduct daily "аузашар" for about 400 believers" added K.Zankoev.
