Astana Motorsports 5th at FIA World Cup in Hungary
The team has taken the fifth place. Over two days of the race participants have traveled more than 600 kilometers. "Hungarian Baja 2014" race joined 77 teams - 35 cars, 5 trucks, 7 open class cars and 30 riders in competition of motorcycles and ATVs. Kazakhstan team was represented in the category T1 (seriously improved production cars) by one passenger crew driving MINI All4Racing car. Aydin Rakhimbaev driver and Anton Nikolayev, a co-driver, represented Kazakhstan under the starting number 218. For two days, the riders have covered more than 360 kilometers. Despite rainy weather Astana Motorsports team has won a worthy fifth place in the overall standings of the race. "For us, it was the first "Hungarian Baja". Weather conditions were complicated and special areas were wet, so, the car was sliding. But we both did our best and made every effort to avoid mistakes", said the A.Nikolayev.
