Astana opens new tennis center

ASTANA. December 2. KAZINFORM /Murat Zhakeyev/ A new tennis center will be opened in Astana on the eve of the 20th anniversary of Kazakhstan's Independence, Chairman of Sports Committee of Kazakh Tourism and Sport Ministry Yelsiyar Kanagatov said on Friday.

The opening is planned for December 5-6. On the whole, 15 sports facilities, 16 sportsgrounds as well as a number of fitness centers will be launched throughout the country till the Day of Kazakhstan's Independence.

Last year 24 sports venues were put into operation in Kazakhstan.
