Astana orphans will go to the cinema and skating rinks on the Day of the First President

ASTANA. November 11. KAZINFORM - The Department for child rights protection plans to organize a range of events for small Astana residents on the Day of the First President. They’ve reported in the agency about the festive program for pupils of orphanages, children from needy families and children left without parents’ care, astana.kz reports.

“On November 20, pupils of the Center for minors adaptation will go to a skating rink of “Alau” sport complex, on November 30 - the Museum of the First President, on November 27 they’ll go to the beach in “Khan Shatyr”. On November 29 there will be an educational event on a topic “The Day of the First President”. On December children will go to “Arsenal” cinema theatre. On December 1 there will be an assembly dedicated to the Day of the First President in the Family-type children’s home. And a show of a movies “Way of N.A. Nazarbayev becoming the leader and the President” will be organized”, - it is reported in the message.

Let us recall, on December 10, 2011, a Law “On introduction of amendments into the Law of the Republic of Kazakhstan “On holidays in the Republic of Kazakhstan” was passed at the plenary session of the Parliament senate. Proposal on establishing of a new holiday was made by a group of deputies on the threshold of the 20th anniversary of the republic. The Day of the First President of the Republic of Kazakhstan was established in order to celebrate and recognize the outstanding deeds of the First President of the Republic of Kazakhstan Nursultan Nazarbayev for the country.

Just like it was last year, this year on the threshold of the Day of the First President Astana will host a range of festive events, socially important and patriotic campaigns, meetings, cultural events, etc.
