Astana prepares 300 Nauryz celebration events

ASTANA. KAZINFORM On the occasion of Nauryz holiday the Astana will be hosting 300 festive events across the city, head of the culture department of Astana akimat Bolat Mazhagulov told a briefing at the Central Communications Service.

"The main events will take place at the Kazakh Yeli Monument. 350 reps of on-stage performance groups and craftsmen from 7 regions of Kazakhstan will arrive in Astana. 40 yurts, 5 pavilions and three stages will be erected. The first Turkic cuisine festival with participation of reps of various Diasporas will be held there. KZT 175 mln was spent for decorations and KZT 150 mln for festive events at large," he added.
