Astana resident cooks Nauryz Kozhe, invites foreign guests

ASTANA. March 22. KAZINFORM. /Damir Baimanov/ Foreign guests, friends and children always gather together and draw round the table in the house of Alima Bekibayeva, Astana resident. Today Kazinform correspondents visited grandmother Alima, who cooked nauryz-kozhe dish and told about Kazakh traditions.

Her family invited guests from Czechia and Ukraine. One who tastes Nauryz kozhe is interested in its receipt. According to grandmother Alima, nauryz kozhe is made from seven traditional ingredients: water, meat, salt, oil, flour, millet and milk that embody seven vital principles: happiness, luck, wisdom, health, wealth, rapid growth and protection from heavens. The whole family of Alima Bekibayeva is eight sons and daughters, 18 grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. ?Today we often talk about the crisis. However, thanks to our President Nursultan Nazarbayev, we do not suffer from this social evil very much. I wish all Kazakhstanis clear sky and peace?, the grandmother said.
