Astana roads to be repaired, repaved in 2013

ASTANA. February 21. KAZINFORM About 100 km of Astana roads are on track to get some type of repairs this year.

Astana mayor Imangali Tasmagambetov made it public at a Thursday meeting with the city's population.

"115 km of roads are to be built and repaired in the Kazakh capital. But the project we're going to focus on especially this year is the construction of the Beisekova street that will cross the Yessil River and reach the Tlendiyev avenue," mayor Tasmagambetov stressed.

"The new bridge over the Yessil River will lessen the load on the Saryarka bridge crossed by 60 thousand vehicles daily. We expect it will halve the load," he concluded.
