Astana students claim 1st place ribbons in science project competition

ASTANA. KAZINFORM The republican student science project competition took place in Almaty, Baiterek media centre said. Its main goal is to encourage scientific research and cognitive activity amongst the students, support the youth's interest in science and engineering, to seek and support the most talented and gifted young researchers.

Since 2000 it is an affiliated fair of the International Science and Engineering Fair, Intel ISEF. The Astana team has been participating in the competition for five years in a row since 2005 to sweep the 1st place and win the Best Team Nomination.
