Astana to become intellectual center and heart of Eurasia
"Status of the new "Nazarbayev University" is a new step forward in domestic education," rector of the Kazakh State Pedagogical Institute for Women Dinar Nurketayeva said in interview.
"In the heart of every citizen of Kazakhstan, as well as in mine, the capital has a special place. Astana is our pride, our mainstay. It is the center of unity and harmony, friendship and peace, science and education, health and welfare, " the head of the institution announced.
"Brilliant and diverse architecture, based on the ideas of the President, delights the eyes of the whole world. The beautiful city on the majestic Ishim River is simply striking. It is hard to imagine the city's appearance in the next ten years, what it will be. I am proud that this city of dreams is my capital, " underlined D. Nuketayeva.
"Let me congratulate all Kazakhstani people on the Capital's Day! I wish long life and good health to our nation's leaders and the prosperity of the main city of the country. For us, Kazakhstan and Nazarbayev are synonymous. Today we feel confident about our future, about the future of our country and the new generation! Let it become the intellectual center of Eurasia, and the eternal heart of Kazakhstan! " the rector concluded.
