Astana to celebrate Nauryz (Nowruz) with concerts and fireworks

ASTANA. March 18. KAZINFORM This year Astana will traditionally pass Nauryz (Nowruz) holiday in a festival atmosphere. At least 40 events are scheduled that day, Kazinform has learnt from Media Center Baiterek.

The open air celebration will be held near Kazak Yeli monument. A concert of the on-stage performance groups from all regions of Kazakhstan is set to take place at 10:00 a.m. through 17:00 p.m. on 22 March.

Grandiose fireworks will crown the Nauryz (Nowruz) celebration at 22:00 p.m. the same day.
