Astana to hold CSTO Security Council Secretaries meeting

MOSCOW April 24. KAZINFORM  A meeting of the Collective Security Treaty Organization Security Council Secretaries' Committee (CSTO CSSC)  chaired by Secretary of Kazakh Security Council Marat Tazhin will be held  on April 27  in Astana.

The main issue of the meeting will be discussion of mutual efforts to counter challenges and threats which influence situation in the CSTO area of responsibility. According to CSTO press secretary Vladimir Zainetdinov, Armenian side will inform abou t"Interaction 2012" joint exercises with the participation of the collective forces of dynamic response scheduled September 3-8 this year in Armenia. The jubilee session of the Security Council Committee agenda and decision of the consultations on foreign policy issues, security and defense will be discussed at the meeting.  Also the Security Council Secretaries will meet with Chairman of the Security Council Committee, Kazakh President Nursultan Nazarbayev.
