Astana to host 45th International Physics Olympiad in July

ASTANA. KAZINFORM - Kazakhstan will host the 45th International Physics Olympiad on July 13-21, 2014.

The capital of Kazakhstan - Astana has been chosen as the venue for the annual physics competition for high school students. Japan, South Korea, Singapore, Russia and the U.S. submitted their bids to host the most prestigious Physics Olympiad established back in 1960s, but it was Kazakhstan that won the right to welcome the event.
