Astana to host Days of Kyrgyzstan culture

ASTANA. September 13. KAZINFORM - From September 21 to October 21, 2011, cities of Astana, Almaty, Taraz and Shymkent will host Days of Kyrgyzstan culture in Kazakhstan dedicated to the 85th anniversary of the People’s writer of Kyrgyzstan and Kazakhstan Ch.Aitmatov, Kazinform has learnt from astana.kz.

On September 21, 2013, at 18.00 a solemn opening ceremony of the Days of Kyrgyzstan culture in Kazakhstan, dedicated to the 85th anniversary of the People’s writer of Kyrgyzstan and Kazakhstan Ch.Aitmatov, is to be held in the Palace of Peace and Accord”, it is said in the message.

In addition, from 21 to 27 of September the Palace of Peace and Accord will hold an exhibition of works by modern Kyrgyz artists, called “When mountains are falling”, representing pictorial art, graphics, small statuary and arts and crafts.

On September 22, a Meeting of Kyrgyz and Kazakh clerisy is planned in the National academic library of Kazakhstan in Astana city.

Besides, throughout a month tour of Kyrgyz theatres and state philharmonics will be held in Almaty, Taraz and Shymkent. Within the framework of the International film festival “Eurasia-2013” there will be the Week of Kyrgyz films.

Closing of the Days of Kyrgyzstan culture in Kazakhstan will take place on October 21, 2013, in Almaty, in a hall of the State academic opera and ballet theatre named after Abai.
