Astana to host forum of OSCE nongovernmental sector leaders - K.Saudabayev

sp;ASTANA. November 24. KAZINFORM /Kanat Kulshmanov/ Astana will host a forum of leaders of the nongovernmental sector of the OSCE member-states. Kazakhstan Secretary of State-Minister of Foreign Affairs Kanat Saudabayev has announced it at the plenary session of the IV Civil Forum.

"Touching upon further support and development of civil society, we as the OSCE chairman plan to hold the forum of leaders of the nongovernmental sector of the OSCE member-states in Astana", K.Saudabayev said.

According to him, it will be a big work and unique opportunity for Kazakhstan to demonstrate what level our civil society have reached, what place NGOs occupy in the country's life.

"I want to call all NGOs to extend patriotism, unity and make your own contribution to ensuring successful chairmanship of Kazakhstan in the OSCE", the Secretary of State-Minister of Foreign Affairs noted.
