Astana-Vilnius: Joint work in OSCE Troika and OIC presidency - new opportunities to extend cooperation
The issues of ensuring the continuity of Kazakhstan's OSCE chairmanship and Kazakh-Lithuanian bilateral cooperation were discussed today at the meeting.
The joint work within the OSCE Troika, Kazakhstan's OSCE presidency last year contribute to further development of partnership relations between the two countries.
K. Saudabayev confirmed the intention of Kazakhstan to render all possible support to Lithuania in its presidency in the OSCE in future.
During the conversation the sides considered the issues of practical realization of the OSCE Astana Summit results which had been held after 11 years of downtime which also defined a new direction of the Organization's development - Eurasian cooperation.
Besides, the parties discussed a wide range of issues of bilateral and multilateral cooperation including further stabilization process in Kyrgyzstan and restoration of Afghanistan.
K. Saudabayev noted that Kazakhstan using its experience as the OSCE chairing country would continue to provide support as OIC president to Afghanistan.
Speaking of bilateral cooperation the parties pointed out stable and fruitful dialogue established between the two countries at different levels.
