Astana welcomes Days of Sri Lankan Culture
ASTANA. November 19. KAZINFORM The Days of Sri Lankan Culture in Astana are to kick off at the Palace of Peace and Accord tonight. The event is dated to 20 years of diplomatic relations between Kazakhstan and Sri Lanka, Kazinform has learnt from the press service of the Culture and Information Ministry.

A dance troupe performance and an exhibition "Beauties of Sri Lanka" are to be a part of the Sri Lankan Culture Days.
The event will be held within the official visit of Sri Lankan President Mahinda Rajapaksa to the Republic of Kazakhstan.
The "Beauties of Sri Lanka" exposition is dedicated to the political and economic transformation that took place in Sri Lanka after the civil war. Through the expo one may also familiarize with Sri Lankan culture and beautiful landscapes.
