«Astana» won in the capital’s derby

ASTANA. September 20. KAZINFORM - Open championship of Kazakhstan in ice-hockey has been held in the capital. On September 18-19, “Astana” met “Nomad” team in a sport complex “Barys”, astana.kz reports.

“Astana” players gained the double-digit victory two times in capital derby. This was reported to astana.kz by the press service of HC “Astana.

In the first play, loosing two goals to “Nomad”, “Astana” hockey players managed to level the match in the two period, and in the third one they increased the difference to 4 points, therefore gaining the victory in the play 6:2 (0:2, 2:2, 4:0).

Playing the second match with the same attitude, Astana players managed to capture the initiative and opened the scoring in the game on the 4th minute. After three missed goals, “Nomad” went to the halftime, having reduced the difference to two goals. Till the end of the game time “Astana” players missed one more goal, but they scored three perfect goals, with Vitaly Sychov making the double. The final score 6:2 (3:1, 2:1, 1:0).
