At least 14 killed in Brazil shipwreck
RIO DE JANEIRO. December 25. KAZINFORM Brazilian rescuers have recovered the bodies of 14 people, who have been killed in a ship accident in the Amazon River, local media said on Friday citing rescue sources; Kazinform refers to RIA Novosti.

The "Almirante Barroso" vessel capsized late on Monday near the remote jungle city of Monte Alegre, apparently after hitting a sand spit.
About 100 passengers managed to swim to safety. One woman is still listed as missing. A team of divers and a helicopter continue search efforts; Kazinform cites RIA Novosti.
