At least 22 dead as bus rolls into gorge in India

NEW DELHI. November 6. KAZINFORM At least 22 people died on Friday when a bus fell into a gorge in northern India, the Press Trust of India news agency reported.

The accident occurred near the Haripur area of the Kangra district in the Himalayan state of Himachal Pradesh. The overcrowded bus plunged into the 100-feet deep gorge when the driver lost control over the vehicle.

According to other sources, at least 18 people died in the accident.
