Atyrau oblast and E Kazakhstan signed memo of coop

ATYRAU.  November 6. KAZINFORM /Andrey Sokolov/ Today Atyrau and East Kazakhstan oblasts have entered into a memorandum of mutual cooperation following an exposition of goods produced in E Kazakhstan.

Several enterprises working in two regions also signed the memos of coop. Thus, in accordance with the documents Atyrau will buy around 60 Niva cars from Asia Avto JSC. 31 out of them are purchased for the internal affairs department.

As Governor of East Kazakhstan oblast Berdybek Saparbayev noted, signing the memorandums was one more step towards raising the volume of the domestic goods and services both on the country's market and in activity of major companies and firms functioning in two oblasts.

According to Saparbayev, the regions possess huge potential for mutually beneficial cooperation. Last year E Kazakhstan produced goods worth KZT 604.7 bln for the republic. Atyrau oblast imported E Kazakhstan products to the amount of KZT 31 bln.

Bergey Ryskaliyev and Berdybek Saparbayev agreed that such meetings demonstrate both regions' great potential, promotes establishment of contacts among businessmen and mutually beneficial ties.
