Atyrau region: 34 projects worth 1.4 trillion tenge realized

Atyrau.Kazinform - As akim of Atyrau region, Bakhtykhozha Izmukhambetov informed at the meeting of the regional top officials, in the framework of the Industrialization Map, 34 investment projects worth 1.4 trillion tenge are under way.

Five projects totaling $ 15.5 billion are planned to put into operation this year.

Speaking about the results of socio-economic development of the region in 2013, B. Izmukhambetov said that industrial output amounted to 4 trillion. 581 billion, while the volume index was 108.8%.

During the reporting period 32.2 million tons of oil and 14.4 billion cubic meters of associated gas were produced. Compared with 2012, oil production increased by11%, and petroleum gas - by 12%.
