Austrian companies to help develop ski tourism in Kazakhstan
"We have great plans concerning expansion of cooperation in ski tourism as well as while holding large sports events in your country. Therefore, we have organized this visit of Austrian experts representing the leading ski infrastructure companies in order to discuss together our experience," Commercial Attaché to Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan and Turkmenistan Michael Müller said at a seminar today.
The Austrian businessmen visited yesterday Almaty city and surveyed Shymbulak ski resort. The guests highly appraised this sports facility.
Noteworthy to say, that Austria is one of European countries possessing highly developed ski infrastructure. Modern Austria has many ski resorts differing in architecture, location and infrastructure. Sports tourism and skiing equipment production comprise the major part of Austria's national budget.
The visit of the Austrian delegation will last till March 2.
