Authentic petroglyphs from Tamgaly to be displayed at exhibition dedicated to 550th anniversary of Kazakh Khanate

ALMATY. KAZINFORM - A travelling exhibition dedicated to the 550th anniversary of the Kazakh Khanate began in Almaty. The event is organized by museum preserve "Tamgaly".

According to employee of the museum Bekzhan Tursynov, the main exhibits of the exhibition are the petroglyphs from Tamgaly town. The members of the expedition sent by the museum brought 10 authentic petroglyphs and sketches of another 15 petroglyphs. The exhibition displays everything according to the chronology starting with ancient times and up to the establishment of the Kazakh Khanate. The exhibition will be available till February 5.
