Auyl party names new chairman

The Auyl people’s democratic patriotic party held its 23rd meeting in the Kazakh capital Astana gathering delegates from all 20 regional branches of the party, Kazinform Agency reports. 

During the meeting, Serik Yegizbayev, deputy of the Majilis of the Kazakh Parliament, was elected the new chairman of the party.

Born in 1963 in West Kazakhstan region, Yegizbayev has practical experience in agriculture and public administration.

The Auyl people’s democratic patriotic party is among the major political parties of the country with eight seats in the Majilis following the elections.
