Awarding ceremony with “20 years of Independence of Kazakhstan” jubilee medals held in E Kazakhstan

T-KAMENOGORSK. December 7. KAZINFORM /Ludmila Malko/ 227 residents of East Kazakhstan were awarded "20 years of Independence of the Republic of Kazakhstan" jubilee medals.

The awarding ceremonies of the active residents who made great contribution to development of the statehood of our country were held in big cities of the region. Governor Berdybek Saparbayev handed over the medals on behalf of the Kazakh President in Semey and Ust-Kamenogorsk.

An awarding ceremony with "20 years of Independence of the Republic of Kazakhstan" jubilee medals for contribution to development of the statehood and strengthening sovereignty of the Republic of Kazakhstan was carried out in the city's akimat.

Leaders of the national-cultural centers, figures of science and culture, heads of enterprises, outstanding public figures and mass media representatives are among the awarded.
