Azerbaijan, Kazakhstan look to bolster digital payment ecosystem

Azerbaijan and Kazakhstan have engaged in discussions to expand their digital payment ecosystem, Governor of the Central Bank of Azerbaijan (CBA) Taleh Kazimov shared in a post on his X page, Trend.az reports.

"During the meeting, we exchanged views on initiatives being implemented by both institutions to enhance the operational framework of monetary policy and expand the digital payment ecosystem. Having discussed issues relevant to the financial sector, we also explored opportunities for further strengthening existing relations and deepening cooperation," the publication reads.

The meeting involved a delegation led by Kazakhstan's Timur Suleimenov.
