Azerbaijan ready for peaceful settlement of Nagorno-Karabakh conflict - I.Aliyev

ASTANA. December 1. KAZINFORM /Zhanna Korkitova/ President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev emphasized that the country is ready for the peaceful settlement of the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict.

"Azerbaijan will be reliable to the cause of peaceful negotiations counting on that they will give results. Conflicts settlement should based on compliance with norms and principles of the international law, implementation of four resolutions of the I=UN Security Council, OSCE decisions, resolutions of the European parliament and the Council of Europe and other international organizations", the Azerbaijani President emphasized.

He noted that the armed conflict between Armenia and Azerbaijan still represents the biggest threat for international and regional peace and security in the OSCE region.

"We are ready to continue negotiations and complete them as soon as possible, and come to such result which will be based on the norms and principles of the international law within the framework of territorial integrity of Azerbaijan", I.Aliyev said.
