Azerbaijan will host V International Music Festival

BAKU. July 16. KAZINFORM - From July 24 to August 6 in Azerbaijan's Gabala kicks off the Gabala International Music festival, according to the press service of the Ministry of Culture and Tourism of Azerbaijan.

Gabala International Music Festival is a project of Heidar Aliyev Foundation, which is headed by the First Lady of Azerbaijan, Goodwill Ambassador of UNESCO and ISESCO Mehriban Aliyeva.

The upcoming festival will be attended by prominent musicians, art groups, soloists, conductors of Azerbaijan and foreign countries.

Among them are world-famous conductors, musicians and bands from Russia, Kazakhstan, Turkey, UK, USA, Italy, France, South Korea, Israel, Lithuania, Cuba. Expected are performances of Yuri Bashmet and Symphony Orchestra "New Russia", Aiman Musahadzhaeva, and jazz bands from Cuba. Also at the festival there will be Amos Talmon, Vadim Repin, Oxana Yablonsky, Dmitry Yablonsky, Cores Benjamin, Mirko Roverelli, Carmelo Corrado Caruso, Idil Biret, Nina Kogan, Jean-Bernard Pommier, Jean Lotem Koenig, Alexander Soloviev, Sergei Leiferkus, Muse Rubayskite, Hee Yong Choe, Michael Gutman and others.

At the concerts within the festival there will perform the Azerbaijan State Symphonic Orchestra named after Uzeyir Hajibayli, Chamber Orchestra of Baku Music Academy named after Uzeyir Hajibayli, folk artists Farhad Badalbeyli, Rauf Abdullayev, Murad Adigozelzadeh, Yalcin Adygezalov, Murad Huseynov, Egyana Ahundova, Mansum Ibragimov, the honored Artist Fahraddin Kerimov, honored artists Gulnaz Ismailova, Tughril Ganiev, Elchin Azizov, Farid Mammadov, Sabina Asadova, Elchin Hashimov, Elnur Akhmedov, Sahib Pashazade, winners of international competitions Fuad Ibragimov, Yousif Eivazov, Elvin Ganiev, Azer Rzazade, talented young soloists and performers of mugham and etc.

Organizational support for the festival is provided by the Ministry of Culture and Tourism of Azerbaijan Republic.
