Bad weather Khabarovsk reg may cause emergencies-ministry

KHABAROVSK, November 13 (Itar-Tass) - The Khabarovsk Territory's emergencies ministry on Friday issues a warning about possible emergency situations in connection with worsening of the weather in the region.

According to the regional centre for hydrometeorology and environmental monitoring, snowfalls and string winds are expected during the coming weekend in the Komsomolsky, Solnechny, Sovetsko-Gavansky, Vaninsky and Polina Osipenko districts. The wind force will grow to 15-20 metres per second.

Municipalities' heads have been advised to take a complex of preventive measures in order to rule out disruptions in the work of transport and housing and public utilities facilities. The population has been advised to take personal precaution measures.
