Badly wounded mute swan rescued in Almaty region

ALMATY. KAZINFORM - A resident of Alakol district, Almaty region, has brought a wounded mute swan to Almaty Zoo.

The zoo employees inspected the swan and revealed that it was shot. The swan had broken wing and wounded left foot. According to zoo workers, the swan spent two months on shores of Alakol Lake. At the present time the bird has being treated and fed up. It is worth noting that 21 swans are currently living in the Almaty zoo.
