Bagapsh wins presidential elections in Abkhazia
SUKHUM. December 13. KAZINFORM Incumbent head of state Sergei Bagapsh has carried the presidential elections in Abkhazia held on December 12. According to preliminary data of the republican Central Election Commission, he gained 59,37 percent of the electorate, Kazinform refers to Itar-Tass.

Raul Khadzhimba won 15.4 percent of the vote, Zaur Ardzinba - 10.8, Beslan Butba - 7.8 percent and Vitaly Bganba - 1.5 percent.
According to data of the Central Election Commission, the turnout totalled 73.4 percent of registered voters, Kazinform cites Itar-Tass. See www.itar-tass.com
