Baikonur prepares to launch three «Glonass-M» Russian navigation satellites
BAIKONUR. July 1. KAZINFORM - Baikonur cosmodrome is continuing preparation for launching "Proton-M" launch vehicle (LV) with DM-03 upper stage rocket and a block of three "Glonass-M" spacecrafts (SC), Russian Space Agency press service reports.
In accordance with preparation schedule, space-mission vehicle (SMV) has been removed from assembly and test facility site 92A-50 and is set to launch complex number 81.
SMV "Proton-M" start with DM-03 upper stage and with three "Glonass-M" Russian navigation spacecrafts is scheduled for July 2, 2013.
Today, GLONASS Russian orbital group has twenty nine satellites, twenty four of which are used for their intended purpose, four are located in the orbital reserve and one on the stage of flight tests.
