Baiterek Holding names new head

Rustam Karagoishin has been named the new head of the Baiterek National Management Holding, Kazinform News Agency reports.

Born in 1983, Rustam Karagoishin is a graduate of the KIMEP University, International Business Academy.

Karagoishin began his professional career in 2004 as a manager, head manager, and head of the project analysis department at the Development Bank of Kazakhstan.

Until 2011, he worked as the managing director – member of the Board of BRK-Leasing JSC.

From 2011 to 2015, he held different positions at Petroleum Operating, Credit Systems, Sberbank Leasing.

In 2015, he was appointed to the pot of the deputy board chairman at KazAgroFinance.

Before May 2019, he held the post of the Director-General of the Grain Consortium of Kazakhstan.

Until 2021, he was the deputy chairman of Baiterek National Management Holding.

From 2021 to 2024, he held different posts in the private sector.
