Baiterek NH Board chairman introduced new head of DBK Zhamishev to staff

ASTANA. KAZINFORM - Chairman of the Board of "National Holding" Baiterek" JSC "Kuandik Bishimbayev has the head of presented "Development Bank of Kazakhstan" JSC Bolat Zhamishev to the staff, who previously served as Minister of Regional Development of the Republic of Kazakhstan, the press service of "Baiterek" National Holding reported.

Bolat Zhamishev's candidacy was endorsed by the Board of Directors of the Development Bank of Kazakhstan. Personnel changes in the Development Bank of Kazakhstan took place after the public administration reform held in August 6, 2014. DBK is a key institution of the state which plays an important role in enhancing investment and lending activities of the country. Bolat Zhamishev was born June 28, 1957. Zhamishev was born in 1957. He graduated from the Kazakh Agricultural Institute, graduate of the Kazakh Scientific Research Institute of Economics and Agribusiness. PhD in Economics. Following graduation he was involved in scientific research. He held positions of a National Bank Department vice Head, vice Minister of Labor and Social Protection, First vice Minister of Finance, vice Minister of Internal Affairs, vice Chairman of the National Bank, Chairman of the Agency for Supervision over Financial Market and Financial Institutions. Before being appointed Finance Minister in November 2007 he served as vice Chairman of the Executive Board of the Eurasian Bank for Development. November 6, 2013 he was appointed Minister of Regional Development of the Republic of Kazakhstan. From August 2014 B.Zhamishev serves as Chairman of the Board of "Development Bank of Kazakhstan" JSC.
