Baku hosts int'l conference on terrorism prevention

BAKU. March 18. KAZINFORM International conference titled "Strengthening of cooperation to prevent terrorism" has started its work today in Baku, Azerbaijan.

President of Azerbaijan Ilkham Aliyev has attended the conference, organized by the UN, Azerbaijan Government and ISESCO.

In addition, the Executive Director of the UN Office on Drugs and Crime Yury Fedotov and İSESCO Director General Abdulaziz Othman Altwaijri made speeches at the event.

The conference was attended by representatives of 50 countries and 20 international organizations. The Kazakh delegation is headed by the Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs Alexei Volkov.
