Baku marks Independence Day of Kazakhstan

BAKU. December 17. KAZINFORM /Arnur Mukhametkarim/ The Kazakh Embassy in Azerbaijan has held an official reception on occasion of the 19th anniversary of the Independence Day in the Baku business center on December 16.

Kazakh Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary to Azerbaijan Serik Primbetov delivered a welcoming speech and told about the path of Kazakhstan's development over this period.

The Ambassador emphasized that Kazakhstan's results reached in policy and economy became possible owing to stability, interethnic concord and tolerance in the Kazakh society.

Besides, the Kazakh diplomat noted a historic event for the world community in the context of global security - holding of the 7th OSCE Summit in Astana after the 11-year hiatus.

S.Primbetov gave high estimation to results of the third Summit of Heads of Caspian states held in Baku.

Conveying congratulations of Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev, Minister of Agriculture Ismat Abasov highly appreciated political and economic processes in Kazakhstan.

The Minister noted that Azerbaijan and Kazakhstan have always had warm relations which began to develop dynamically after gaining independence.

"I am confirmed that our mutual efforts will be directed to accrual of these traditions, dynamical and progressive development of interstate relations for the sake of prosperity of our nations and countries, for the sake of peace, security and stability in the region", the Minister resumed.
