«Barys» first shift top scorer in KHL history
ASTANA. September 26. KAZINFORM — The hockey players of Astana "Barys" Nigel Dawes, Dustin Boyd and Brandon Bochenski are the most effective shift in the history of Kontinental Hockey League (KHL) regular season as of September 25, Vesti.kz informs.

The first shift of the Kazakh team has 14 delivered pucks. Previous record was updated in the last season, when the trio of Chelyabinsk "Tractor" (Stanislav Chistov, Jan Bulis and Evgeny Kuznetsov) repeated the feat in ten pucks which until then was repeated twice (2008/2009, 2010/2011).
It is worth noting that over the past thirteen years since the championship has not been started by either one triple. Prior to that, the best result was 11 goals scored in the season of 2006/2007 by the Kazan "Ak Bars" shift consisting of Danis Zaripov, Sergei Zinoviev and Alexei Morozov.
NOTE: "Barys" has already set several records for goals scored which number reaches forty after seven games.
