Barys washed up by SKA, 2:5

In the beginning of the game against Barys, SKA got a few unnecessary penalties, and Salak had to start saving his partners right away. Shipachev won the faceoff, and Kovalchuk beat Ahonen. In 2.5 minutes the score became even, but still SKA went to the first intermission leading: Viktor Tikhonov scored on a double power play.
Second period turned out the most productive for SKA. Alexey Ponikarovsky made it 3-1, then Cervenka took advantage of another power play and with one and a half minutes to play before the second buzzer, Dmitry Kalinin put the fifth puck in Barys's net.
In the third period, SKA had to kill quite a few penalties and let one more puck in. However, the game turned out into the fourth consecutive victory — 5:2.
On Sept 14 “Barys” will play with “Atlant” from Moscow region. The match will start at 5.30 pm local time.
